I am a fine artist and photographer based in Massachusetts. I work using the mediums of charcoal, oil, pastel, watercolor, mixed media and my Canon digital camera.
I began charcoal drawing at a very young age after receiving the booklet, "Learn to draw with Jon Gnagy" as a Christmas gift. My fascination with oils began with German Painter, Bill Alexander, on his PBS television series, "The Magic of Oil Painting". Soon afterward, I was painting 'happy little trees' along with Bob Ross! Those early years whet my appetite to keep learning and keep exploring new mediums.
I have an AS degree in Graphic Arts Technology, and there, was introduced to the field of Photography, which has become my main profession to this day. Much of my work has been featured on news broadcasts and featured on many online professional groups. I am a member of the Quabbin Art Association (QAA) and the New England Camera Club (NECC)/Quabbin PhotoGroup in Belchertown MA.
I am passionate about art and the creative process and whether I'm creating using paint, pastels or my camera, I aim to create extraordinary art. I hope you agree as you glance through my galleries!
